That’s why every Birth to Latch doula receives ongoing mentorship, advanced training, evidence-based tools, administrative support, and access to our in-house specialists, including lactation care.

Birth Support
Our comprehensive birth doula package includes:

Phone, text & email support from the moment you hire your doula.
Two prenatal visits.
Birth support from the moment you need your doula until after baby arrives and everyone is settled.

Birth is a major life moment, and having the right support can make all the difference. Our role is to walk alongside you with calm, evidence-based guidance, steady presence, and care that adapts to your unique needs. Is a backup doula guaranteed?
Yes. Because we are an agency, you have the safety net of a certified, pre-approved backup doula. We believe you should never fear being left without support.
How does communication work?
You’ll receive direct access to your doula for questions, updates, reassurance, and guidance. Our support admin may contact you throughout your journey to ensure you feel supported.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept Kaiser, Health Net and other select insurance partners. Insurance-covered visits would be used as outlined by your insurance coverage and may look different then what is outlined above.
How do payments work?
A retainer fee reserves your spot, and the remaining balance is due at 37 weeks. Payment plans are available upon special request.
Postpartum Support Offerings
NO baby shower gift or gadget can help you with breastfeeding, baby care, or the laundry like a postpartum doula can.
Hire the help. You won’t regret it.
15 Hrs/$900 = (3 visits in same week 5hrs each visit)- Ideal for parents seeking support the first week home. Additional hours may be added on as needed based on doulas availability. Breast and bottle feeding support. Baby care (diapering, bathing). Learning baby’s cues Light housekeeping Postpartum healing, herbal bath, self care.
30Hrs/$1,800 = (5 visits over 2 weeks 5hr each visit)- Ideal for budget-conscious parents, experienced parents, and families with challenging breastfeeding experiences. Feeding support for baby and mom. Baby care and additional education in infant massage. Getting out of the house. Baby wearing support. Light housekeeping, meal preparation, postpartum healing, sleep support and self care.
60 hrs/$3,600 (3 times a week over 4 weeks 5hr each visit) Ideal for new parents, breastfeeding parents, those susceptible to postpartum anxiety/depression, single parents or partners with limited work leave, parents of multiples, and individuals seeking extended assistance or additional support. Will include all of above. Infant development education. Baby care and feeding support. Sleep support for mom.

Education in the areas of Newborn Care, Infant Safety, Newborn Soothing Techniques and Infant Massage.
Feeding, Burping and Nurturing Baby
Bathing, Dressing and Grooming Baby
Tending to Baby Laundry, as well as Washing, Sterilizing and Preparing Bottles and Breast Pump Accessories
Restocking Nursery and Maintaining Necessary Supplies, and Emptying Diaper Receptacles
Running Errands (such as the pharmacy, grocery, shipping items, returning items, etc.)
Accompanying parents to Pediatric Appointments, if requested

If you are covered under one of these plans, doula services are provided according to your insurance model of care. This includes virtual visits, labor and birth support, and postpartum care as outlined by your benefits.Out-of-Network PPO Plans:
We’re happy to provide a comprehensive superbill after services are completed so you can request reimbursement directly from your insurance provider. This would be a self pay for doula support birth and/or postpartum. Many insurance companies will reimburse you for all of your support services.
